Our aligners are crafted based on at home dental impressions and are tailored to each individual's specific needs. We offer a convenient at-home treatment option, eliminating the need for ANY in-clinic appointments.

Your aligner treatment plan relies on wearing them for 22 hours each day. Adhering to this schedule is crucial to ensure your teeth move properly and your treatment stays on track within the designated timeframe.

After completing our smile assessment and placing your order, we'll ship you an at-home impression kit. You'll receive a welcome call from one of our instasmile Smile Consultants. Once we have approved images of your impressions, you'll ship them back to us. Upon receipt, we'll create your personalized, doctor-directed treatment plan, which you'll need to approve before we create your aligners. Once approved, we'll ship your aligners to you, and you'll follow your treatment plan until completion.

instasmile Aligners can be used as long as you have all of your adult teeth and get approved by the doctor who reviews your impressions. If you are under 18, you will need your parent's consent.

Yes! instasmile Aligners can help with cases of mild to moderate gaps. Gaps between one or many teeth can make your smile unattractive. Closing such gaps can improve your speech and resolve aesthetic concerns.

It depends. As there is a limitation to how much clear aligners, by themselves, can move the teeth, instasmile Aligners cannot fully correct an overbite, underbite, or an open bite, which would require either traditional braces, attachments, rubber bands, expanders, and in some cases, jaw surgery. Our aligners may in some cases be able to lessen the appearance of an overbite, however, through better alignment of incisors and canine teeth.

A dental midline is the line between your two upper front teeth and your two lower front teeth. This line does not always align due to differences in tooth size, missing teeth, or chewing only on one side of your mouth. Aligners cannot correct a midline, but can improve the appearance through better alignment.

Yes! instasmile Aligners can move veneers and crowns as long as they are not on your molars and are fully secured to your teeth.

Yes! We guarantee a straighter smile on completion of your treatment plan. As long as you follow your treatment plan there is no reason why you wont have that straighter looking smile at the end of your plan. If not we'll cover the cost of any amendments to the plan or offer you a full refund. We also offer one free of charge replacement for any of your aligners - in case of accidents, loss or damage. No questions asked!

Your treatment guarantees are contingent upon compliant aligner wear, as detailed in our terms and conditions. In short, we ask that you wear your aligners for the full, amount of time agreed in your personalized treatment plan and hold onto all aligner sets until treatment is complete.

Unfortunately not, dental implants are attached to your bone so it is unsafe to move them with aligner treatment.

You would need to have your bonded retainer removed before starting aligner treatment.

After purchasing your Impression Kit, the timeline for receiving your aligners typically involves several steps. Once you've completed and returned your approved impressions, our team will create your personalized treatment plan, which you'll need to review and approve. Once approved, we'll then proceed to fabricate your aligners. The entire process, from impression to aligner delivery, usually takes a few weeks. However, the exact timeline can vary depending on factors such as the amount of time spent on completing your impressions, shipping times and the complexity of your treatment plan. Rest assured, we strive to minimize any delays and get your aligners to you as efficiently as possible.

Don’t worry! We offer unlimited impression attempts with no extra cost until you get it right, and all we need is one good impression of your top and bottom teeth. If you were able to get at least one of each arch, then we should be able to work with it! Go ahead and send photos of the completed Impression back to get your impressions reviewed. If new impressions are needed, then we'll be in touch with advice on how to take a new impression.

If you receive a product that is damaged let us know by completing a support request and we will replace it. Please refer to our Guarantee for further details.

For your safety, we do not accept returns. Most products ship the same day they are ordered, or in the case of custom aligners we begin production of your custom aligners as soon as you approve your personalized treatment plan. Once an order has been placed we cannot accept exchanges, returns or refunds.

Once you've completed your impressions, you will need to send images for visual approval. If approved, you'll be instructed to ship them back to us at no extra cost. Should the impressions need to be repeated - its important these are accurate - one of our Smile Consultants will reach out to guide you through the process of redoing them. Don't worry—you have unlimited attempts to get it right!

If not used, your impression kit can be returned to us and we will refund you the cost, minus a small admin fee.

It might. If your dental plan provides orthodontic benefits, you may be reimbursed directly from your insurance company after purchasing your aligners. We don’t accept direct payment from insurance companies, but we can get you the forms you need to file your claim. Contact us for more details or to see if you qualify.

Yes! You will receive a phone call from one of our expert Smile Consultants to walk you through the process once you have placed your order and your kit has been shipped. We will provide step by step instructions and a video link demonstration.

Yes! After we recieve your completed impressions, we'll create your personalized Doctor Directed Treatment Plan, which will show 3D images of how your teeth will look at the end of your treatment.

It's different for everyone, but the average treatment plan is 3-6 months. We don't take on severe cases which would take more than 6 months to complete. Once you've completed and returned your impressions, your personalized Doctor Approved Treatment Plan will be sent to you for approval, which will detail the amount of time your case will take.

Yes! You can purchase instasmile Aligners for your upper, lower or both dental arches.

Nope! instasmile Aligners do not move the molars in any treatment plan. Our aligners focus on the 'Social 6' teeth which refers to the six upper and lower front teeth that are most visible when you smile.

Your aligners should be worn 22 hours per day, everyday! Take your aligners out to eat, drink, and brush your teeth. Other than that, it’s best to leave them in around the clock. It's important to follow your treatment plan exactly in order to get your desired results.

We recommend changing your aligners at night before bed.

If you happen to lose or damage an aligner, no worries! Just reach out to us, and we'll promptly order a replacement. We understand accidents can occur, which is why we offer one free replacement in the event of loss or accidental damage. While you're waiting for your replacement aligner, please continue wearing the previous one to avoid losing progress. Please note: Aligners can be appealing to kids, dogs, and cats, so keep them out of reach!

Yes, it’s fine to keep wearing them unless you’re severely ill or actively vomiting. If you happen to vomit with your aligners in, you should take them out and clean them right away.

For dental emergencies, contact your local dentist.

You don’t need fancy tools to clean your aligners. First and foremost, it’s key to rinse your aligners under cool (not hot!) water when you take them out. This prevents residue build up, and cloudy or discolored aligners. Brush and floss your teeth after every meal to prevent food and drink from getting trapped under the aligners. Clean using a soft
bristled toothbrush and cool water. Do NOT use denture cleaner, abrasive toothpaste or soak aligners in mouthwash. These products can deteriorate the surface of the aligner and cause them to become dull or cloudy.

The most common reason for rejection of the card is insufficient funds. Reach out to your HSA or FSA provider to verify the amount of money in your account before attempting to complete your purchase again.

Yes, you can still be reimbursed for the expense.

Flex will email you an itemized receipt following your purchase. Submit the itemized receipt to your HSA or FSA provider for reimbursement.
